| About Us The Sherborn Newcomers and Neighbors Club (SNNC) is a social and charitable club that welcomes all newcomers and long-term residents of Sherborn to come together to make new friends, share common interests and become involved in our community. The SNNC is run by a board made up of members from the community, and has an operating season that runs from September to June. We have an annual membership fee of $40 which includes the cost of our monthly newsletter, postage, invitations to all social events, and access to our special interest activities and groups. Our larger social events do require extra fees for attending to cover additional costs such as food, beverages, decorations etc. We do not make any additional money, we simply cover the cost of each event. If you have never attended an event in the past, we welcome you to attend one event this fall prior to joining. The SNNC offers a variety of programs including: Social Activities: These members only events encompass a wide range of activities. Family-oriented events, couples' events, and even ladies' or mens' events center around the seasons and holidays, recreational activities, or shared interests. Each event has a different host, and theme. In the past, we have had themes such as fondue, Cinco de Mayo, wine tastings and Italian night. Book Club: Meetings are once a month at a member's home. Book choice is voted on at the previous meeting. Click here for more information about book clubs.
